Describe yourself with any positive word beginning with "I"
When I ask you to describe yourself in just one word, what “word” it be? How about if I asked you to choose one word to describe yourself or how you choose yourself to be in the future using just one word; which begins with the letter “I”?
Hello. My name is Ter Scott, Life & Legacy Coach™ and choosing a (positive) word which starts with the letter “I” may not be so hard for you if you have been following along with me and the gang (readers) as we did this already from A to H. But today, even for those who have been regulars, I am throwing in a different way of doing things; to mix it up a bit.
Every week we come together to choose 3 (positive) words which start with the weekly letter, write them on a 3 x 5 card and look at them (say them out loud) 3 times daily for the entire week. That part remains the same but this week, instead of giving you a list of positive words to look at and choose from, I want you to try choosing 3 words without a list. The words which come to mind are probably things that you really wish you should be working on. So here goes.

Take your 3 x 5 card, write: “I am”, followed by the 3 positive words which start with “I”, that you want to be, wish to be or be more. Don’t worry if you sound like you are “bragging” as no one but you will see your card or hear you recite it.
Next, carry it with you and try very hard to look at your card and read/say your affirmation 3 times daily; for a whole week!
OK, it is confession time. We’ve come quite a way in the alphabet so let’s check our process. How many find you are reading these articles but not getting started? Do you write out the card and don’t read it 3 times but pretty much the whole week? Here’s a thought. Place hash marks on your card for each time you read your card each day and also for each day you remember to read your card at all.

Don't Swear at the Snow!
Here in the Twin Ports (where I live), it has snowed several inches. Many will use this situation to choose to be unhappy, late, stressed, etc. Your attitude depends on your intent. As long as you have the intent of succeeding, or selling, living or loving; it will happen and you'll find the tools along the way to help you. Quit "trying" so hard and let it "happen". If you were traveling to a friend's house would have to "try" so hard or be so "stressed"? Enjoy the scenery and stop once in awhile to "recognize" the "roses". Ter Scott, Life & Legacy Coach.

Are you healed? Are you happy? Would you like to be?
One purpose of our “positive letter exercise”, journey; project or whatever you might call this is to affirm something great about ourselves in a consistent daily routine for 7 days.
We choose three words from the list of “positive words which begin with…” and write them on a 3 x 5 card completing the sentence, “I am…”. We carry the card with us and look at daily and read aloud at least once in the morning, noon and night.
This week’s letter is “H”.
If this is your first time at this site and reading this, you may think that it is an accident but there are no such things. You were meant to read this. Below you’ll see a word list to choose 3 words but I know that many people reading this are meant to read and use an affirmation for healing.
When I started to type this article and found that the weekly letter is now “H”, I immediately thought of “I am healed, healthy and whole”. Not every word starts with “H” but I know that some readers need to use this for their affirmation because they are ailing in some area in their life; not just physically. If that applies to you, feel free to use this as your weekly affirmation:
I am
Healed,
Healthy and
Whole.
For everyone else, use the word list to choose your 3 positive words, write them on your card and report back here leaving your comments as to what experiences and results you had.
Since I am also sharing in this adventure, these are the words I selected from the list; you go ahead and choose whichever words you want.

Sometimes it is best to use the first 3 words that “pop” out at you from the list and other times you may want to choose several and narrow your choices to 3. Try to keep it to 3 words for your 3 times daily, for 7 days.
