What We Learn from Live, Learn and Return

Someone stated:

"I've learned that when people aim for what they want in life, most aim too low" - age 75

There is much we can get from this gem of wisdom. Hopefully this person found this out earlier than their present age and have no regrets looking back. For all reading this who are younger than 75, do something to raise your sights right now!

Here's another written by somone 68 years younger; you tell me what this means to you:

"I now know that if you laugh and drink soda pop at the same time, it will come out your nose". - Age 7

This is YOUR blog!

Frequently I will post something that I hope lightens your spirit and motivates you to do something to appreciate your life. You must "act" to appreciate yourself and the things around you.

Here's what dictionary.com tells us about "appreciate":

ap·pre·ci·ate

[uh-pree-shee-eyt] Show IPA verb, -at·ed, -at·ing.
1.
to be grateful or thankful for: They appreciated his thoughtfulness.
verb (used with object)
2.
to value or regard highly; place a high estimate on: to appreciate good wine.
3.
to be fully conscious of; be aware of; detect: to appreciate the dangers of a situation.
4.
to raise in value.

I want you to appreciate your life, using all four of these definitions.

Even though I will offer thoughts from time to time, this blog really is more about you and others who visit often and leave comments. The comments I'm inviting here should only take you a few moments and must follow these specifics: 1. Start your one or two sentence comment with: "I've (or I have) learned...
2. State what you've learned (funny, serious, etc.)
3. Close with your first name and initial of your last name (you may use first and last initial only if you like) and your age. (all entries must include the age; knowing at what age these gems of wisdom are presented is what makes this more interesting). Yes, you may also state your profession and link your name to your website ie. Deborah W. Professional Belly Dancer - Age 29 (Don't lie)

That's it! I moderate all comments before they are published so you know this site is family friendly. Also, know too that when your comment is published, it now becomes the property of AD KING LLC.

Tell others about this blog and invite them to join in on the fun. Do you teach a class in grade school, high school or college? Why not do this as a class project? Are you a success coach, or business consultant? Why not include this as an icebreaker or business team builder?

Only with your participation can our time together be mutually beneficial. Together we can first live, then learn (from our own experience and now from each other) and then "return" by returning these gems at this site so the circle continues.

Make it a great day!
Ter Scott!

PS. Here are a few examples of the comments I'd like to see here.
