Nobel Laureate and a Comedian Speak about Global Warming

Is Global Warming a Hoax?

Maybe we should use a word which may get our minds to "think" which is something that doesn't seem to happen much by people these days; the word is "sensible". People get their news from "the media" and people who we trust such as teachers and biased professors. But instead of taking the word of the talking heads on the Boob Tube, YouTube or from government public school system's books and teachings; and we simply repeat what is fed to us. What happened to the motto that we should "question" everything, and ask our wondrous minds the question "is this sensible"? And by the way, "news" isn't always "fact"; think about that.

I may not have credibility with you the reader about global warming because I'm not a talking head on a big screen or in your local bird cage liner. However, I'm a Life and Legacy Coach, and have taught in public and private schools and also at the college level. I'm not a scientist, it's true so if you need to listen to a scientist tell you you about global warming, I will suggest that you should find one soon before they are all silenced, "paid off" or worse.

There are plenty of scientists who know the truth but you may have to actually do some research both online and offline to find them. Can you take time away from your hectic routine to do this? I've made it easy for those who found this article and are reading this.

I am including two videos which will help you in your research. I suggest that you watch this Nobel Laureate speaker (has much more credibility than myself) and listen to it while you are reading and deleting your email, doing some office work etc. as it's great to listen to but it is a bit over 30 minutes. I know that it is much easier to remain ignorant and not invest 30 minutes in real education about anything that has real life consequences and can impact your wallet like this, than it is to surrender to "the way it is" and sit down with a pizza and a few beers in front of a big screen TV and watch a few sitcoms.

Because we live in a "sit com" world, most people get their "news" from comedy shows; sounds crazy doesn't it? Again, ask your mind, "is getting news from comedians sensible"?

I'm also not a "comedian" but I am a Toastmaster (a past International Division Governor) and public speaker and have done some "stand-up", but if you enjoy getting facts from a comedian I present to you one of the best in the second video. (It's also questionable about how he was "silenced").

So if you can pull yourself away from that football game, All my Children, Days of our Lives and all the other "voices" out there, I encourage you to take some time to watch these two videos and then get alone in a quiet area without distractions and have an intelligent discussion - with yourself! With just you and your thoughts, really ask yourself, "Is this sensible?" Be sure to take notes!
